NYCLU's Divest, Divert, Demilitarize Police Lobby Day

Please sign up below to claim your spot at our April 29th Lobby Day! As part of our "Divest, Divert, Demilitarize" Week of Action, we will spend April 29th meeting with legislators to advocate for vital policing bills. We're demanding a ban on weapons of war in our streets, no more police spying, non-law enforcement responses to mental health emergencies, and more.

Details: The day will start at 10am with a community gathering. We will then break into teams and attend 30-minute legislative meetings between 11AM-3PM, followed by an optional debrief session @4PM. Please note that you will not need to be on zoom all day! You can expect to attend 2 or 3 meetings, and can take breaks in between.
