Tell Governor Edwards to Protect Incarcerated People from COVID-19

TAKE ACTION NOW

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to threaten the lives of all Louisianans, people incarcerated in the state’s crowded prisons and jails remain among the most vulnerable to this disease. Since the pandemic began, there have been more than 2,600 COVID-19 cases in Louisiana prisons and 31 deaths. These tragedies could have been prevented by stronger action by state officials to contain the spread and release vulnerable people from these dangerous conditions.

Tell Governor Edwards to take action now to protect all our communities by combating the spread of COVID-19 and releasing vulnerable individuals from these dangerous conditions.
