The economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has made housing in America more uncertain for people already struggling to pay rent: Millions of renters in the U.S. are now at risk of eviction unless Congress acts now.

On July 31st, the nationwide eviction moratorium expired. With lost income and reduced wages, millions of tenants are at risk of eviction in a pandemic – overwhelmingly impacting tenants of color, particularly Black women. The federal government has set aside billions for rental assistance but it hasn’t reached the people who need it most. We can prevent mass evictions: Urge Congress to immediately reinstate the federal eviction moratorium. Send your message.
