Request for Legal Help Form
This form is designed to assist the ACLU in the evaluation of your grievance. Please be as specific and detailed as possible. It is important that all questions be answered completely.
The ACLU of Kentucky offers legal assistance for cases involving civil liberties violations in which government is involved.
The ACLU of Kentucky does not handle:
disputes between private parties, including private employment disputes;
domestic disputes, or
child custody matters.
Unfortunately, our resources are limited. We take cases that raise significant constitutional or civil liberties issues and which impact others in the same situation. We cannot take all cases offered us. We are unable to take many cases, even those concerning real injustices. If your complaint is not pursued by our office, it does not mean it is without merit.
If we need further information, we have your contact information and can request any documents necessary.
Although we keep our files confidential, submitting cases via email is not a secure means of transmission. If you do not wish to submit your form via email, you may fill out the form, print it and mail it to:
