We have experienced seditious assaults on political opponents, on the news media, and even on late-night talk show hosts.

And we have seen a president who would declare himself a king seek to deploy the military against his own people, sending masked federal agents to patrol our cities and towns while plain clothed ICE officers disappear our immigrant friends and neighbors with no regard for due process.
