A Gift in Memory of Harriet Hausman

In her nearly 100 years, Harriet Hausman was a tireless supporter for many civil liberties issues including protecting free speech, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial justice. Harriet’s dedication to the ACLU was unbowed in good times and bad, reflecting her deep commitment to justice and liberty for everyone. We will miss Harriet’s contributions to our work, but will continue the work to protect civil liberties and rights in her honor.
