A Gift in Memory of Aaron Jaffe

Over the course of his life’s work as an Illinois legislator and state court judge, Aaron Jaffe was a tireless advocate for equality and civil rights in our state. As a legislator, he fiercely championed legislation to advance civil rights, and to lift up those without political power and create a more just society. He later brought his sense of fairness and dignity to the bench, serving as a state court judge. His family has graciously selected the ACLU of Illinois as an organization for donation’s to honor Aaron’s life.

The ACLU is comprised of two organizations, the American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU Foundation. Contributions to ACLU foundation are tax deductible for charitable purposes, while ACLU membership dues are not. [ ? ]
