The Lights of Liberty Awards Dinner

Honor the people who have changed New Jersey for the better at Lights of Liberty. We’re honoring Ed Barocas, our legal director for 17 years, with the ACLU-NJ’s highest honor – the Roger N. Baldwin Award.

Cecillia Wang, deputy legal director of the national ACLU, will give a keynote about the organization’s work throughout the country on voting rights, immigration, free speech, and more important issues.

We’ll be giving the legal leadership award to Paul Weiss and the Pro Bono Network, along with immigration and criminal law attorney Mike Noriega.

Receiving the Torchbearer Award is Johanna Calle, director of the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice.
