Banned Books Public Information Responses 2017 - 2018
If you received challenges to books or other teaching materials in your school system, we are specifically interested in records that would contain the following information:
- The title and author of each and every book named in any such challenge, and
- The name of the particular school(s) affected, and
- The reason(s) given for the challenge, and
- The result(s) (i.e. action(s) taken by school administrators) with regard to each challenge.
- Any other information you believe is relevant. We are particularly interested to know if the challenge was made by a student, parent, teacher, administrator, or by someone outside the school system.
