At the first Town Hall, on President's Day, 2006, Marvin Kalb, Senior Fellow at the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy and Faculty Chair for the Kennedy School's Washington programs, moderated. Opening remarks and closing were given by Caroline Fredrickson, Director of the ACLU Washington Legislative Office.
